Connected Hearts Healing Yoga

Sunday June 23rd, 2024 – 10am to noon

Join us for a 60 minute Gentle Healing Yoga class where we will explore breath work, a variety of gentle yoga postures, and short meditation, to calm the mind and quiet the emotional and nervous state. This class will be accessible to all, with gentle and mindful support amongst the community. The theme of the class is “Loving Kindness,” and will help to re-establish a relationship of love and trust for your body. All levels are encouraged.

Please bring a blanket, towel or yoga mat and water bottle. Water and refreshments will be available with time after the session to connect with others navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, stillbirth, infertility and/or TFMR.

This is a safe space for everyone that has experienced loss and our first fundraising event to continue to improve services in the Okanagan. All are welcome and honoured.

Space is limited. Tickets $40 each, if cost is a barrier to participation please reach out.

Meet your Instructor – Lindsey Crosby is a passionate yoga teacher, farmer, and mother of two small children who has called Kelowna home for the past 8 years. She enjoys getting her hands dirty and connecting to the earth and land by growing food for her family and others on her organic peach orchard. Lindsey loves to bring the community together by sharing her beautiful space at the farm by offering yoga classes, retreats, events, weddings, or just a slow walk amongst the trees with anyone who stops by. Connecting people with their food, the land, and their bodies in a meaningful way is what truly lights her up. When she's not frollicking on her farm in Southeast Kelowna, you can catch Lindsey around the beaches throughout the Okanagan in the summertime, and in the mountains enjoying the snow and sunshine in the winter.
